Yr 12 Textiles & Design Excursion 02-Nov-2009 On Monday 30th November, Textiles and Design Students will travel to Surry Hills in Sydney to attend the 'Texstyle' exhibition and seminar.

This excursion is a requirement of the course. Students will have the opportunity to view major works in the HSC 'Texstyle' exhibition. This will assist students in producing their major work for their HSC in 2010. Students will also participate in a drawing workshop to assist them in preparing for their portfolio.

Students will leave from school at 7.00am and travel in Mrs Walker's car to Sutherland Station where they will catch a train to Central Station and walk to the venue. Students will return to school by 5.00pm.

The cost of the excursion is partly covered by the school. Students will beed bring $20.00 towards the cost of the workshop and seminar, plus money for the train fare and their travel concession card. Students will also need to bring their own lunch or money for lunch.

Permission notes are to be returned to the school by Monday 8th November.
